Blood & Steel is a war game simulation of the climactic battle fought near Prokhorovka Station during the Kursk campaign. The historic battle between the 2nd SS Panzer Corp and the Soviet's 5th Guards Tank Army can be likened to the collision of two irresistible forces. Before this battle the SS never failed in its attacks. Afterwards, the retreat to Berlin would only be delayed, not stopped.
The 11" x 17" map represents the actual battle ground around Prokhorovka. The 150 counters represent the elite of the German and Soviet armies.
